Executive Director of the International Center for Human Development Tevan Poghosyan today told reporters that the Deputy Prime Minister has to establish a concentrated operational headquarters to provide information regarding the new coronavirus.

“The interiors of public buses need to be disinfected, and we ourselves need to show a good line of conduct and be generous to one another,” he said.

In response to the statements that the April 5 referendum must be canceled, Poghosyan said any decision must be calculated because it derives from the country’s national security.

“This is why the government needs to set up a headquarters. Perhaps the situation is such that there is no need to stop the campaign for the referendum. However, we must also realize that, from the perspective of national security, there might be a need to cancel or postpone the referendum,” he said.
