On his Facebook page, deputy of the Prosperous Armenia Party Arman Abovyan stated that it seems to him that the government has acknowledged the volume of dangers of the economic crisis and that he has addressed the government with a proposal.

“Dear Government,

Taking into consideration the economic situation created as a result of the spread of the coronavirus in the Republic of Armenia and the whole world and the negative consequences of the economic situation, I recommend that you immediately develop and implement flexible mechanisms to grant provisional tax privileges for small and medium-sized enterprises in Armenia and serve as a mediator so that the financial institutions and banking system operating in Armenia temporarily freeze the interest rates of loans of all borrowers, including those of individuals and organizations involved in small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and the periods of redemption of those loans.
