The commission coordinating the activities for prevention of the spread of coronavirus in Armenia today held a session chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan.

During the session, the commission discussed the current coronavirus situation and touched upon the details of the March 15 flight for Armenian citizens returning from Rome and the inspection and quarantine in Armenia (the passengers will be provided with face masks and will be under a 14-day quarantine in Armenia).

The commission stated that remuneration of employees of Armenian public schools and universities where classes have been suspended until March 23, will remain the same, the missed lessons will be supplemented through additional lessons, and exams will be organized later.

The members of the commission attached importance to access to precise information on the coronavirus based on facts and further intensification of steps in this direction. They also considered the opportunities for certain employees of state organizations to work remotely.
