YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: Yesterday we learned that it was already decided in the upper ranks of the power to postpone the constitutional referendum on April 5, which will be announced in the coming days.

It will be commented as a move against the spread of coronavirus—a bigheartedness the power is showing in order not to endanger people attending a public event.

But the real reason is different, and course of the first phase of the campaigning [for the referendum] and the people’s attitude, which is more passive than expected, have played a greater role in the matter of that decision.
