YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: Zhoghovurd daily has learned details of the criminal case initiated for the $42mn worth allegedly useless weapons obtained during the years of office of RA third President Serzh Sargsyan.

According to Zhoghovurd daily’s information, the National Security Service made this disclosure, and later the criminal case was sent to the RA Investigative Committee.

According to the information that reached Zhoghovurd newspaper, the Armed Forces officials during the period 2016-2017 have been called for questioning in this criminal case, and they claimed that they were unaware that the weapon was useless when buying it.
