YEREVAN. – Back on Monday, Armenia’s central bank has addressed commercial banks asking to review loan conditions for persons who have problems in connection with coronavirus outbreak, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Facebook.

He added that this mainly refers to the companies involved in the areas of tourism and services that could face difficulties because of decrease in customers.

“An individual approach will be used for all clients so that they do not face the problems of repaying loans. Banks will discuss loan terms individually, discuss repayment schedules, interest rates, or a combination of these measures.

As a result of these changes, the credit history of the clients will not deteriorate, and they will have the necessary resources to overcome possible temporary problems,” Pashinyan added.
