YEREVAN. – A special session of the government will be held today at 3pm to discuss the issue of declaring a state of emergency in the republic to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this on Facebook live.

"If the government adopts a decision to declare a state of emergency, details will be voiced at the government meeting, after which a special session of the National Assembly will be convened by the force of law," he added. "We will probably make a decision on a state of emergency aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus."
