Georgia is preparing for growing number of coronavirus cases, Prime Minister Georgy Gakharia said.

The country is moving from the stage when the infection could be stopped, to the stage when the virus will spread rapidly. At the same time, the Prime Minister does not see the need to introduce a state of emergency.

The first citizen infected with the coronavirus has already been discharged from the hospital.

Georgian government banned movement of mini buses in Tbilisi and other cotiec. The epidimologists believe that mini buses are number one risk for the spread of coronavirus.

PM advised that the citizens aged 70+ should self-isolate.
