Turkish authorities have banned people above 65 from leaving home because of the coronavirus, RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier, Turkey decided to suspend air communication with 46 states in connection with the spread of novel coronavirus.

Coronavirus was first confirmed in Turkey on March 10 in a local resident who returned from Europe. According to the Ministry of Health, the number of registered cases is 670 people. At least nine people in Turkey have died from a disease caused by coronavirus.
