Haydar Bas, the founder, and leader of a small, nationalist party has become the latest victim of the coronavirus in Turkey, AP reported.
Bas, 73, died on Tuesday in the intensive care unit in Trabzon, the state-run Anadolu Agency reported.
Eight members of the Bas family have also tested positive for COVID-19.
Bas founded his Independent Turkey Party in 2001.
