A large forest fire swept across the Biebrza National Park, the largest in Poland, Euronews reported.
According to the environment ministry, the fire has covered at least six hectares and threatens several villages. While 150 firefighters participate in the extinguishing with the support of airplanes, helicopters and drones.
The disaster has already been called the largest in the history of the park, which received protected status in 1993.
