The health state of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is much more serious than previously thought, Fox News reported referring to the Japanese media.

According to the Japanese magazine Shukan Gendai, the health status of the North Korean leader has seriously deteriorated after visiting a certain countryside in April.

Kim reportedly required a stent procedure following the incident, the Japanese media reported, citing a source from the medical team treating the North Korean leader.
