Stepan Grigoryan, who was serving a life sentence in Armenia, was released from prison on Wednesday. Grigoryan's lawyer Robert Revazyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.
Revazyan said that Grigoryan's good behavior was the reason for his release.
On December 25, 1997, Stepan Grigoryan was sentenced to death by the Supreme Court. But on August 1, 2003, by the decree of the then President of Armenia, his death penalty was commuted to life imprisonment.
