YEREVAN. – In the last two years, I have witnessed many illegal charges, gross and significant procedural violations. But in this series, the charge brought against Mikael Minasyan [Armenia’s former ambassador to the Vatican] deserves the Grand Prix for the degree of its absurdity, Minasyan's lawyer Amram Makinyan wrote on his Facebook page.

"And the ongoing investigation [into this criminal case] is setting new records with its one-sided and obvious non-objective manifestations," he added.
