YEREVAN. – A criminal case has been filed over the death of serviceman Taron Poghosyan, on charges of negligent attitude towards military service, according to the Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

An investigation is in progress.

Major Poghosyan was fatally wounded on Monday as a result of a landmine explosion while carrying out engineering work at the combat position of a military unit.
