Armenian president Armen Sarkissian has signed a law on confiscation of illegal property as well as 14 related laws, president's press service reported.

According to the statement, laws were handed over to the president for signing on April 21, 2020.

As the government noted, the law should be adopted amid the need to increase the effectiveness of the fight against crime and confiscation of property illegally acquired as a result of criminal activity in this context.
