EasyJet has announced it had suffered a major cyber attack.
The leadership said that attackers gained access to information about 9 million customers, CNBC reported.
EasyJet CEO Johan Lundgren said that the company takes the cyber security of its systems seriously, “however, this is an evolving threat as cyber attackers get ever more sophisticated.”
"We would like to apologize to those customers who have been affected by this incident," he said.
