The following is posted on the Facebook page of second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan:

“The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has delivered its advisory opinion on the case of Robert Kocharyan and other ex-officials. The ECHR has clearly reaffirmed the standards of non-retroactivity of criminal law and legal certainty. This makes it clear that, just like the attorneys and independent experts were claiming in the beginning, Article 300.1, which didn’t exist at the moment that the events of March 1, 2008 were taking place, can’t be applied under this case.”
