On May 28 at 01:15 the operational management center of Yerevan Police Department received a call from an anonymous citizen who said he or she had planted a bomb at Zvartnots International Airport.

The operational groups left for the scene and found out that it was a false alarm.

Through operational intelligence operations, police officers found out that the false alarm was sounded by a 32-year-old resident of Sardarapat village who, on May 28 at 06:00 was apprehended from Talin village and taken to the Linear Division of the Police of Armenia at Zvartnots International Airport.

Police are preparing a report.
