Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Masis Mayilian posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Today I was reappointed Minister of Foreign Affairs upon the decree of President of Artsakh Arayik Haroutyunyan.

As it was mentioned, the decision was taken by taking into consideration the current situation and challenges, and it is in the interests of the country. I agreed to assume the office of foreign minister, taking into consideration the opinion of the majority of the political parties that had endorsed me during the presidential elections. Besides, I have received many calls and letters from Armenia and the Diaspora urging me to continue my diplomatic service.” Masis Mayilian also emphasized that it is a great honor for him and he still has a sense of responsibility for continuing to serve as foreign minister of Artsakh.
