The number of COVID-19 cases in Iran has reached 180,156, IRNA reported.
Health Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said on Thursday that 78 Iranians died of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours bringing the total number of deaths to 8,584.
The Iranian health official added that 2,728 people are in critical condition.
