YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: The halls of power are extending the state of emergency [in the country] for the third time.

A special sitting of the government will be convened today, after which a special sitting of the parliament—to adopt the decision.

According to information reaching from the sources of the halls of power, the extension of the state of emergency is due to political processes. The halls of power have come to such a decision taking into account the scenario of possible internal political escalation and mass events. As it is known, the state of emergency does not allow staging of protests.

Let us reminded that the last extended state of emergency ends on June 13, at 17:00.
