YEREVAN. – The National Security Service (NSS) issued a second statement Sunday, this time in connection with another criminal case involving opposition Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader, MP, and business tycoon Gagik Tsarukyan.

Accordingly, the respective NSS investigation has revealed numerous cases of bribing voters in the amount of hundreds of millions of drams to vote for the PAP’s candidates during the 2017 parliamentary election, and this bribing involved both the leadership as well as the ordinary members of this political force.

As per the statement, about four dozen searches were carried out in the course of this investigation, during which documents related to the movement of funds during this election were confiscated, as well as other facts which gives grounds to claim that these mostly pursued the goal of providing an account to the PAP executive.
