YEREVAN. – The situation outside the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia remains tense.

Opposition Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader, MP, and business tycoon Gagik Tsarukyan supporters and party MPs are not leaving the area.

Tsarukyan has been in the NSS for more than four hours now.

There are also a large number of police forces that have surrounded the protesters, and they are apprehending people on a regular basis.

A while ago the police announced that they are giving the protesters 15 minutes to leave. Otherwise, coercive measures will be used.
