YEREVAN. – Sixteen patients have died in Armenia from COVID-19 in the past day, the Ministry of Health informed on Monday morning.

These patients were aged 78 (male), 61 (female), 82 (male), 56 (female), 73 (male), 60 (female), 83 (male), 73 (female), 57 (male), 42 (female), 56 (female), 71 (male), 72 (male), 88 (female), 83 (male) and 41 (female), and all of them had pre-existing chronic diseases, the ministry added.

And three other deaths were reported the previous day when the patients were diagnosed with the coronavirus, but died of other illnesses. The total number of such cases is 94 now.
