What is happening over Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan is a political process, head of Armenian ex-president Robert Kocharyan's office Victor Soghomonyan told YerevanToday.

According to him, "dubious criminal cases were instituted" against Tsarukyan.

He noted that authorities failed in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and now use the state of emergency exclusively for political purposes, violating the fundamental democratic rights of citizens.
