YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of Armenia writes: Zhoghovurd daily has learned details about the course of the criminal cases that have been launched in connection with the June 14 events.
The thing is that on that day, [opposition] PAP [Prosperous Armenia Party] chairman [MP, and business tycoon] Gagik Tsarukyan's supporters, fellow party members had gathered in front of the National Security Service building, had even blocked [adjacent] Nalbandyan and Khanjyan Streets.
But since rallies are banned in Armenia during a state of emergency, a criminal case has been filed (…) against a group of people for disobeying the rules, disrupting traffic.
And although the MPs of the PAP faction [in the legislature] had also sat on the ground [there], had obstructed traffic on that day, at the moment there is no decision that the MPs will also be involved in this case as defendants.
