Armenia's health minister Arsen Torosyan said that 55,849 people tested for COVID-19 as of June 12.
His remarks came on Wednesday at the Armenian parliament.
However, according to the minister, more tests were carried out, as there are citizens who have been tested several times, and some even about 10 times.
Touching upon the remarks that Armenia did fewer tests than Ukraine or South Korea, the minister noted that per 1,000 people Armenia has tested many more people than these two countries.
