Iran has recorded 87 COVID-19 new deaths per day, bringing the total number to 9,272, IRINN reported referring to Health Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari.
According to her, 2,596 COVID-19 new cases were recorded throughout the country.
The total number of cases since February 19, when the authorities first reported COVID-19, reached 197,647, RIA Novosti reported.
