During a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said he refuses to attend the military parade dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War to be held in Moscow, Azerbaijani mass media reported.

Aliyev regretted that he wouldn't be able to attend the parade due to extension of the lockdown in Azerbaijan and stated that Azerbaijan would be represented by the defense minister and 75 servicemen of the Azerbaijani army. In response, Putin said Russia understands the situation.
