US President Donald Trump said he had heard 'interesting' things about aliens. Donald Trump was speaking to his son Don Jr in a Father's Day-themed interview on his official YouTube channel, The Sun reported.

During the talks, Don Jr asks if Trump will consider "letting us know there are aliens" before he leaves office.

He said: "This is the only thing I really want to know. Would you ever open up Roswell and let us know what's really going on." Roswell is considered to be one of the most notorious UFO incidents in 1947.

"So many people ask me that question, it sounds like a cute question," Trump said. "There are millions and millions of people who want to go there, who want to see it.

"I won't talk to you about what I know about it, but it's very interesting."

In 1947, the rancher discovered unidentified debris in his pasture near Roswell. Air Force officials said it was a crashed weather balloon, but skeptics doubted it, suggesting that it was an extraterrestrial flying object.

Decades later, the US military recognized that the wreckage was associated with a secret nuclear test. However, the UFO theory is still valid.

Trump has previously noted he "doesn't particularly believe" in aliens but has admitted holding meetings on sightings of UFOs.
