Today former Minister of Education and Science of Armenia, Vice-President of the Republican Party of Armenia Armen Ashotyan was interviewed within the scope of a criminal case instituted by the Investigative Committee, as reported Head of the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Investigative Committee Rima Yeganyan.

“Armen Ashotyan was summoned to the interview with the procedural status of witness under the criminal case being investigated by the Division for Investigation of Heavy Crimes of the Yerevan Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia,” Yeganyan stated.

Earlier, Armen Ashotyan had posted on his Facebook page a note stating that another interview for bringing a charge against him had ended and had added that there is no hope of making the authorities understand that their attempts to repress and silence him are hopeless. He also thanked his compatriots for their solidarity, faith and support.
