President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan has conveyed a congratulatory message on the occasion of Medical Worker Day.

The message, which is posted on the Facebook page of the President, reads as follows:

“Dear medical workers, I cordially congratulate you on Medical Worker Day.

You are celebrating this memorable day in special conditions. As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, once again, you are on the frontline, just like you were during the difficult years of the Artsakh war decades ago. Today, once again, you are compelled to save lives by putting your lives at risk and to fight for our citizens’ health by putting your health at risk.

We are deeply grateful to you for your constant, self-dedicated and professional work and dedication. The government is always with you and by your side. Even in the future, the government will do its best by consistently making efforts to implement necessary reforms in the sector, continue to improve your working and social conditions and resist the current challenges successfully and effectively through combined efforts.

Once again, I congratulate all Armenian medical workers. May you achieve success after each day of your extremely important work requiring a sense of responsibility. I wish you good health and all the best.”
