The chief economic adviser to US President Donald trump Kevin Hassett will leave the US administration in the summer, Axios reported referring to sources.

Hassett returned to the post of adviser in March amid an economic situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier, he warned that US unemployment could reach the level of the Great Depression, and advocated an increase in spending on unemployment.
