Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has posted the following on his Facebook page:

“The National Assembly of Armenia passed the amendments to the Constitution by which the incumbent president of the Constitutional Court will be impeached and three members of the Constitutional Court will go on pension.

The parliament also passed the amendment to the “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly” law that will enter into force after the President of Armenia signs it, and after that, the Speaker of the National Assembly will promulgate the package of constitutional amendments, and from that moment the president of the Constitutional Court will be deemed to be impeached, and the powers of the three judges of the Constitutional Court will terminate.
