President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Distinguished Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan,

I express my deep gratitude to you and the Government of Armenia for the decision that the government made today, according to which a budgeting loan in the amount of AMD 12,600,000,000 will be granted to the Government of Artsakh in the first semester of 2020 from the state budget of Armenia to support the economy of Artsakh.

I assure you that Artsakh was in great need of the funding, especially in terms of overcoming the social and economic consequences of the pandemic. The government of Artsakh will gear all the funds towards the solutions to social and economic issues. This decision serves as yet another example of the consistent implementation of the commitments assumed by the authorities of Armenia for the security and development of the population of Artsakh.”
