The preliminary hearing on the case of second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan vs Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wasn’t held today at Yerevan court of general jurisdiction in Arabkir Administrative District since the plaintiff wasn’t attending the hearing.

Robert Kocharyan has filed a new lawsuit against Nikol Pashinyan for slander.

The lawsuit is filed due to the statements that Pashinyan made during an election campaign. In his statements, Pashinyan said the defense budget needs to be increased by AMD 2,400,000,000, 1,200,000,000 of which is the robbed money that has to be returned, and he mentioned Robert Kocharyan in the statements.
