YEREVAN. – We recently put into circulation—together with my colleagues Artak Manukyan, Alen Simonyan, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Hamazasp Danielyan, and Tsovinar Vardanyan—the draft to the main law on funds with inviolable capital. Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, a member of the majority My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"We hope that our initiative will regulate the issue of including donations and other gratuitous funds, and will lay the institutional foundations for their management.

The need to regulate such funds had matured long ago, and as the experience shows, these funds significantly contribute to ensuring financial stability of educational institutions, museums, libraries, sports, and other organizations,” he added, in particular,

Hayrapetyan also noted that with this draft, they expect to regulate matters with respect to endowments.
