The coronavirus situation in Armenia is the same situation France was in for 2-3 months. This is what Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte said during an online press conference today.
The Ambassador expressed satisfaction with the trilateral cooperation in the fight against the virus that helped make it possible for French doctors to visit Armenia.
“I hope the US, France and Armenia continue their cooperation in other areas of medicine as well. France and Armenia have been cooperating in the field of medicine for quite a long time, and it all started after the 1988 Spitak Earthquake,” Jonathan Lacôte added.
As of the morning of June 23, Armenia reported a total of 21,006 coronavirus cases and 372 deaths, and according to the authorities, another 16 citizens died “from other diseases”.
