Former US Vice President Joe Biden won the New York and Kentucky primaries on Tuesday, TASS reported referring to The New York Times.

The NY and Kentucky primaries were scheduled for April 28 and May 19, respectively, but the event has been rescheduled amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

New York State ballot processing is incomplete. According to the magazine, Biden received 66.2% of the vote, while in Kentucky, he is having 56.8% of the vote.

Biden, according to the latest estimates by The New York Times, had the support of 2,177 delegates.

The current US leader Donald Trump has already received a sufficient number of party congress delegates to be nominated a Republican candidate in the presidential election scheduled for November 3.
