During a discussion on the bill on making amendments to the Law on National Education in parliament today, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan said the bill implies the possibility of holding only one admission exam in case the country declares a state of emergency or martial law.

Harutyunyan also stated that this regulation will be applied not only during the state of emergency declared due to the coronavirus, but also in case of all similar situations.

Asked how admission exams will be conducted next year, Harutyunyan said the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport is still undecided and it all depends on what kind of a situation the country will be in.
