Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Armenia sets anti-records, thus the government is going to tighter restrictions.
According to him, the whole population should fight the pandemic daily.
"But unfortunately we do not have such a situation," the PM noted adding that fake news on COVID-19 is being spread in the country.
"You probably know that we already have a criminal case for violating the anti-pandemic rule, when a citizen with a positive diagnosis decided to take a taxi. A criminal case has been launched in this regard," he added.
A total of 759 COVID-19 new cases have been reported in Armenia, bringing the total number to 23,247.
The death toll in the country has reached 410. The total number of tests conducted so far is 105,046.
According to the latest data, 12,149 people have recovered.
