French President Emmanuel Macron has accepted President Vladimir Putin's proposal to visit Russia, DW reported.
The date of Macron's expected visit is not yet known, but he could leave for Moscow by the end of the year, taking into account the development of the situation with the coronavirus.
Earlier, Putin and Macron had discussed for two hours—via videoconference—the situation in Libya, and the alleged presence of Russian mercenaries in Libya.
