YEREVAN. – I will not wear a mask; this is a matter of principle. Sona Aghekyan, a former member of the Yerevan Council of Elders and head of the Yerevan Alternative Municipality initiative, on Monday stated this in front of the building of the government of Armenia.
For failing to comply with a lawful request of the police, Aghekyan has been deprived of the right to free movement.
She demands a written request from the police because, as he says, citizens have the right not to believe the verbal word of the police.
"I will not wear a mask because my health is dear for me," she added, in particular.
Police apprehended Sona Aghekyan, and is currently at a police station.
