Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan today held phone talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.

As reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the interlocutors discussed the tense situation in a sector of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the paths to ease the tension and touched upon issues related to stability and security in the region.

The Armenian foreign minister said Azerbaijan’s violation of the ceasefire regime, which was accompanied by the attempt of encroachment against the military foothold of the Armed Forces of Armenia stationed in the territory of Armenia, is absolutely inacceptable.
