Presidents of Turkey and Russia Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin held phone talks and discussed their countries’ economic cooperation and the state of affairs in Syria and Libya, as reported the Staff of the President of Turkey.
“Our President held phone talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. First, the parties discussed economic issues and actions aimed at expanding the bilateral ties, as well as the efforts being made in the fight against the coronavirus. The heads of both states also assessed the state of affairs in Libya and Syria and touched upon other regional issues,” the press release reads, as reported RIA Novosti.
