President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan today convened a working consultation devoted to healthcare-related issues.

During the discussion with healthcare specialists, the head of state declared that he will fulfill the promise he made during his election campaign and will raise their salaries sharply starting from January 1, 2021.

“The aim of this state policy is to create a quality healthcare system with the best specialists. In addition, we need to extirpate all types of defective phenomena; otherwise, offenders will be held strictly liable. The government will be consistent with this,” the President stated and stressed that primary healthcare services will be totally free for citizens starting from January 1, 2021.
