After consulting with the advisory board of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia, Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan appointed Armen Afandyan Deputy Prosecutor General.

Armen Afandyan graduated from the Law Faculty of Yerevan State University and has held various positions in the Police of Armenia and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia. On September 26, 2019, he was appointed Head of the Department for Crimes against Ownership of the Prosecutor General’s Office. He is also a winner of the USSR All-Union Wrestling Championship and the championship of the Republic of Armenia.
