President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Haroutyunyan today convened a consultation devoted to the construction of a district that will have 300 apartments in Stepanakert, as reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the President of Artsakh.

State Minister of Artsakh Grigory Martirosyan delivered a speech devoted to the design-calculation works. According to him, the district will be composed of six 7- and 9-story buildings, the buildings will be built through co-financing of the public and private sectors, and the principle of affordability of prices will be ensured.

Arayik Haroutyunyan assigned the officials in charge to explore the geological features of the territory, all the options for ensuring seismic defense and launch construction of the district after making a relevant decision.
