The Supreme Body of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party today issued a statement stating the following:

“Azerbaijan is being aggressive once again. To distract attention from the domestic political failures in the country, this time, Azerbaijan has targeted the northeastern border of the Republic of Armenia and has also shelled peaceful settlements. As in the past, the attempts of military assaults of Azerbaijan against the sovereignty and territories of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) are doomed to failure due to the professional and patriotic soldiers of the glorious Armenian army.

The Republic of Turkey overtly expresses its support to Azerbaijan’s aggressive actions, showing, once again, the essence of the elites advocating enmity and hatred against the nation. Throughout history, the unity of Armenians for homeland defense has been proved several times.

As always, with its chapters around the world, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party resolutely supports the victorious Armenian Army and stands on the frontline for homeland defense.

At the same time, we state that the international community and civilized mankind must not stay indifferent towards the belligerence of the Turkey-Azerbaijan tandem; otherwise, it will be devastating for the fragile ceasefire and the region.

Thus, addressing the international community, we call on the international community to specifically assess the Turkish-Azerbaijani aggression and take adequate measures to avoid a disaster, not make another call to the sides to show restraint.”
